Local Resturant Incident

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday , I went to lunch with a friend and my aunt at a local sandwich

shop. I have eaten here many times with good service and great food.

However, yesterday was different.. First of all, they brought me a sandwich

that had toasted bread on one side and soggy bread on the back side.. I wasnt

happy at all.. so I called for the waitress. She asked me what did I want

her to do,, I told her she could either get me a correctly made sandwich or

take that one off my lunch bill.. She brought me a new sandwich.. perfect.

However, I had taken one bite of the first sandwich.. and bit down on

something hard.. couldnt chew it .. decided it was probably a bone.. I had a

smoked turkey sandwich.... Anyway, the hard thing turned out to be the

plastic casing that goes around wiring.. I wonder what that would/ve done to

my pouchie if I had swallowed it.. I shudder to think.. ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, the manager refused to come out and talk to me.. but God was with

me.. The regional manager for that particular franchise was sitting at the

table across from me .. and heard the entire exchange. He came over and

apologized to me.. told me he would get to the bottom of how the casing got

into my food, and he wrote off my table/s entire meal ticket. He also gave me

his card and told me to email him the first of the week and remind him of

this incident and he would do something nice for me..

All/s well that end/s well.. and although this could/ve been a bad

situation, I suppose it turned out pretty good..

Take care

Hugs,

from GA
