Guest guest
Here are a few of the blood tests that we did. CBC sedimentation rate CMV IGG/IGM (IGG if positive) ANA titer EBV IGG/IGM (IGG if positive) Hypothyroid panel ferritin level Immune panel (to include)- total & % CD4 total & % CD8 total & % CD16/CD56 total & % CD19 lead level vitamin B12 level folic acid comprehensive metablic panel SGOT/SGPT lipid panel candida titer (IGG,IGA, IGM) (immunodiagnostic labs 1 ) HHV6 (immuno. diag labs) quantitative immunoglobulins (IGG,IGA, IGM,IGE) gliadin antibiodies alpha interferon allergy food screen (95 Meridian Valley 1 ) optional: thyroid antibodies herpes I & II IGG/IGM rubella IGG titer coxackle - my son's immune levels were extremely high. Physically, he appeared to be very healthy (except for the dark circles under his eyes). Now, before anyone jumps up and yells " HEY! these are the tests Dr Goldberg orders " ..... yes they are and my son is a patient of Dr Goldberg BUT .... don't blow off the blood tests justs because of this. The medical side of autism needs to be seriously looked at. We are GFCF/eggless/cowless. We've tried the supplement/SNT route with minimal success. Blood tests were the only physical evidence we had that he was 'sick'. No one should have a lymphcyte count 2x what it should be. No one should have a food panel screening that 'resembles the brooklyn skyline' (ie up and down - allergic to everything). If the immune system is this sensitive then something is setting it off ... doris millersville MD
