Guest guest
Sorry, I hate the term " newbie " for some reason. Anyway, I am a relatively " new person " (7 wks? gfcf)and am starting a new menu idea and thought I would share it. I decided to make it easy on myself, I would plan 5 meals and then rotate them. I'll probably just do this for a few weeks until I have more time and feel more adventurous. Here are some of my ideas: Breakfast- Scrambled eggs Muffins Pancakes Cold cereal Cream of Rice Hot Cereal All with fruit in addition... Lunch- Refried beans with salsa and chips to dip ???? I am sooo stuck on this one and am looking in the archives for EASY ideas. Dinner- Baked potato with Hormel chili with Beans Sloppy Joe's( ') Crockpot chicken(coke, BBQ suace, bsugar) Hamburgers Grilled chicken All with vegetables, rice, Ore Ida etc... I am also beginning to cook in large quantities now. The thing I find most frustrating is I have to THINK when I cook and bake now. I miss just having one flour! Now I have to get out 8 different flours, all sorts of new words I have never heard of(tahini, tamirind, guar gum, etc.)Although I learned very quickly to make up huge batches of the four bean and regular Hagman mixes! I am sooo creative as you can see. Anyway, I thought this might help some of you who cook as well as I do and feel as overwhelmed as I do! Janelle ps How do I send the same post to another site? I don't want to retype.
