Guest guest
Hello All - My name is . Along with my mom, we are taking care of my 6mth old nephew while his mom is over in Iraq. My mother took him to the doctor the other day for a check up and shots. During his check up a nurse pract. advised my mom we should take him to a cranial specialist regarding his " flat head syndrome " . The specialist they referred us to was the cranial tech in Paramus, NJ. My question is: does anyone know of any other specialists in Northern NJ - specifically in or Sussex County, NJ? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
Guest guest
Hi , We just got a helmet from Cranial Remolding Center. They are located in town right down the road from town Memorial. The number is 800-685-9116. They are associated with the Cranial Facial Center out of Goreyb Childrens Center. That number is 973-971-8585. They see patients once a month usually around the 15th of the month. They were very nice to work with. The main Neurosurgeon with the group is Dr. Mazolla. Good Luck. Please let me know if you need anything else we just got our helmet yesterday. Kara > > Hello All - > > My name is . Guest guest
Hi Michele, My son got his helmet from CT in Paramus, and it was well worth the trip (we live in Orange County, NY). It was in part because of their diligence that my son was correctly diagnosed (he didn't have plagio which he was originally diagnosed with). I can't say enough about the staff and the company as a whole. The CEO was going to hand make my son a helmet in order to insure a good fit. That said, you are right to want to see a craniofacial specialist as the staff at CT are physical therapists. Children's Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx has an excellent Craniofacial center. The neurosurgeon there is incredible (Dr. Goodrich - google him). Again, it is well worth the trip - especially if don't have to go very often. Good Luck, and thank you to your sister for her service Audra From: <michellejunk@...>Plagiocephaly Sent: Saturday, May 30, 2009 12:44:51 AMSubject: Concerned Aunt in NJ Hello All - My name is .
