Wow- what a way to start the experience!

Well we got it- but man....

I will give you the quick version. We went to our appt today, but

they scheduled us at the wrong place! I had even called yesterday to

confirm my appt- but that office was closed due to the " storm " (ha

ha)- so all calls were redirected to the main office! When I

confirmed- I confirmed at the main office even though I called the

Woodlands office! I drove 40 miles to get his starband- and ended

up having to drive an additional 50 miles to the other location- or

wait until next week....so we drove. Then we walk in and they ask -

do you have his band???? (oh my gosh!)-I am about to lose it at

this point- and then someone says oh wait it is here....

On the upside- we let him wear it for 1 hour on 1 hour off- and he

did pretty well. He wore it on the ride home too- he did get mad a

few times- but I think he will get used to it pretty quick. He had

a couple of red spots that were gone within 10 minutes... I am just

glad we got it today.

You're a dedicated parent :-) That is a lot of driving, and I hope

that the office doesn't normally make this kind of mistakes. I'm glad

he is doing well, keep us posted.

Thanks ! My hubby wanted me to wait due to stormy weather

but I was determined! - hope they do not make a habit of making

those kind of mistakes either.
