& Joyce returning to Iowa Feb. 19 - ?

Just wanted to let you all know we are returning to RMH February 19th

as is having problems with her right foot (this was the most

severe one). I hardly have a chance to log on these days so I'm not

sure whose planning to be out there at this point. I would love to

meet up with some of you if you happen to be out there. I will be

checking postings daily this week before we head out Sunday to see if

I'll get to meet any of you or get to meet up with old friends

again. There is a good chance we'll be out there 2-4 weeks or more

this time. I would love to meet up with you , but hopefully

we won't be out there 6 weeks. Her left foot has done great, however

her right foot has not gotten to the neutral position yet and we have

tried daily formal physical therapy for the last 10 days in addition

to what I do at home and it hasn't helped the problem. The good news

is she started trying to walk on her own this past Thursday without

the help of her walker and she is doing very good. When we left Iowa

January 15th after getting her casts off on the 9th and physical

therapy that week she couldn't do her walker without help and she had

a hard time standing up really straight. She's really come a long

way and her left foot is perfect. The right foot is close, just

needing a little bit of help to get where it needs to be. Take care!
