Guest guest
Tell me about this " angry eye " --that's a perfect name for what we've seen on Elijah lately. Can it just be on one eye? The left side of his face is the pushed-out side, and we often look at him and say he's " scowling " at us. We had just gone to the dr. Monday and I forgot to ask, but if he noticed it, he didn't mention anything about it. so maybe it's normal? Betsy I don't think what she is describing is angry eye, since the eye is staying completely open and is not squished close. If the OT at CT hadn't seen it before, it must be something else. Possibly related to her hypotonia? Does it happen all the time, or only when her band is on? I've never heard of that happening before. Usually one eyelid is more lazy (closed) than the other, but the other responds normally. It's curious that the eye doctor didn't have any answers for you, I would expect he would. Hmmm...I'm sorry I have no answers either. Maybe seek a different opinion from another eye doctor? Jake-2.5 (DOCBand Grad 9/08) Jordan-5 > > 'angry eye'.. totally normal! It's what keeps the band from slipping down > (well, to them anyway), I think.
