There's also the possibility of a staple line disruption, especially

with a 4-year old surgery. Not as many surgeons were transecting

then as are now. She should have an endoscopy and/or upper GI to

rule of mechanical failure first. A SLD is fixable, but, as Carol

knows all too well, a stretched stoma is usually not.
