Guest guest
Sherri, Unfortunately, I do not know much about lingual nerve injuries. The center of my tongue felt the way you describe for about 3 weeks post op. I thought I had burned it drinking my coffee too hot as I lacked any sensation in my mouth for the first week or so. Maybe it was due to a temporary nerve damage instead. I hope the rest of your recovery goes well.
