Howdy doody everyone,

I haven't posted in awhile..been busy as all get up. But last Friday

was the last day of school and things should calm down a little now.

(Ha! That's a joke!)

I'm looking forward to getting back into my routine. I had a 6 week

run of the dominoe effect with kids and hubby getting sick. I

thought I would never get dug out of it! Six weeks, no gym. Plus I

was going stir crazy staying at home, cleaning up you know what and

not able to get a break even at night. My eating habits haven't been

as good as they should have. Of course I haven't lost a single pound

in all of that time, but the good news I also didn't gain a single

pound, so I'll take that as an O.K. and get back to " work " .

I went back to the gym 2 days ago and boy, oh boy, did I suffer!!! I

only did cardio the first day and I sweated like a pig (do pigs

really sweat?)...guess my metabolism is all mucked up again. I'm

looking forward to making the next drop.

Seems this thing is going in stages. Drop 40 pounds, plateau for

several months, drop more, plateau for months. Well, that's O.K. as

long as it keeps on the path. I don't know when I'll even out.

Hubby got laid off. I am super bummed because I was supposed to have

my pannelectomy in December and now we'll have no insurance as of

July 31. I know you can all feel my pain. I just cried and cried.

But, hey, that's life and I'll just have to pick my self up by the

pannus and march on!

So the kids are out of school (they're 9 and 10) and they squabble

constantly. In 2 weeks hubby will be at home all day. Pray for me!!!

Smiles,

Vicki A.
