OT: Need info on Aspberger's ASAP

Could someone please let me know some good links/or advice for a friend who

has a great-nephew that was just diagnosed with this. The child is eight

yrs old and was diagnosed last Monday, after he was violent with a teacher.

My friend is in a panic, as they have sent him to a psyche hospital for 10

days and now they want to ship him post-haste to an institution in another

state. She said the parents are not equipped to deal with him (for a lot of

reasons) and the grandmother is trying to figure out how to stop this from

snowballing before they can figure out what has just hit them, and how to

help (according to my friend) this precious little boy who has obviously

fallen through the cracks. I have several general links, but thought

someone could point me in a more precise direction dealing with aspberger's.
