Guest guest
Just from personal experience, my body feels different when I eat sea salt as opposed to table salt. Not sure about the other ingredients, but less is best in my book, unless you really need the iodine. The table salt I have (Mortons) doesn't have all that stuff, but they could just not be listing it. Kat 27 UC since June 09 SCD since Feb 10 Prednisone 10mg, acyclovir, multivitamins, probiotics > > I just looked at the ingredients in my table salt and it contains calcium silicate (anticaking agent), dextrose, potassium iodide and sodium bicarbonate. I know the BTVC site says it's okay if it has dextrose, but does anyone know if the calcium silicate is legal? I have a real problem with being able to cut down on salt, I use an extreme amount on my food and was wondering if this could be contributing to a really bad flare up I've been having for about a week. I know it could be any number of things, but just wanted to know if anyone has any information on this. > > Thanks, > Pegi >
