Maybe.

But the point you should make, I think, is that it's not all it

takes for you to get your questions answered.

I would want an appointment just for asking my questions. (I would

also be prepared to pay him whatever the going rate is for such an

appointment.)

And I would send the questions to the doc in adance, before the

appointment, so he/she can know what you're worried about, and

prepare to address your worries.

I saw my surgeon 3 times before going in the clinic. Each time I

went I took all my x-rays and stuff and he never kept any of it, not

even at the last visit. I think that a lot of the operation depends

on the condition of your bones and he can't tell what they're like

until he's actually doing the surgery.
