Guest guest
Yes, it's actually common to have this problem. It's not just the swelling, but the after-effects of anaesthesia. It should go away in a few days. I also get this effect after a massage therapy treatment that includes cranial-sac therapy. It's disconcerting, but goes away the next morning. > > I just had surgery on a class III jaw (11mm open bite). Guest guest
You may want to wait awhile before getting your eyes checked post-op, if you've had work done on your upper jaw. Things may change after quite a few months post-op (info from my massage/cranial-sac therapist). > I havent really had blurriness or anything but i have had a little straining. I normally only wear my glasses at night or when i have headaches but ive had to wear mine a lot more lately,I need to get my eyes checked soon but not sure if I should wait and see if my eyes get better after awhile or if this is permanent now.
