three days post op HEEELLLLPPPPP!!!

Hello,

My name is micky and i had a leforte I maxillary advancement with a

genioplasty to correct a class III underbite on 2/2/05. I have a

couple of concerns.

1. My face is sooo swollen, and my upper teeth are not firmly in

place, they keep shifting everytime i try to swallow, they kinda

feel like dentures that are not really socked in. My OS says that

this is normal and that he will put bands on on monday, also to

correct my bite, which is totally off now, It was bad before but now

i only have two teeth occluding. Has anyonelse had a rocking rolling

jaw post op?

2. Also my nose looks totally bizzarre. It is really swollen, and is

pointing to one side, which i think may have something to do with

the nasotracheal tube that they used during surgery, has anyone else

run into this, and has anyone had this resolve?

3. My OS still has me on clear liquids until i can see him on

monday. how long was anyone else on liquids? I am totally

fantasizing about blending some chocolate cake or some pasta?
