Guest guest
Randi Yes, dried fruit is SCD-legal, but can be considered an advanced food. If you're not yet symptom-free, you might want to wait until you are. And if you're dealing with yeast-related symptoms, then you definitely want to wait, as dried fruit are one of the "trigger" foods. Also, you'll need to check any packaging labels when you purchase dried fruit. Some brands have additives that are illegal, such as cornstarch or sugars. And your body might react to some of the preservatives that are used, such as sulphur dioxide. Depends on your body. Some people purchase a dehydrator so they can dry their own fruit and control all the ingredients. Kim M. SCD 6 years >>>>>>>>>>>>> I am new to the group with a history of CD.
