Guest guest
Polly, Hang in there girl!! At least you've gotten that far!! I've been trying since Feb. just to get my insurance company to admit that they have my pre-approval letter from the doctor!! They seem to " lose " everything or else the person who was working on it is " no longer with the company " .....yeah, since FEB!!! Finally, last week they finally admitted receiving the RE-SUBMITTED packet that we put together. We had sent this one certified so we could prove that it had gotten to their office....but this time, " we just moved the office to another state about 2 weeks ago.... " ! If I can't get an approval...or denial...I can not appeal!! I'm just stuck!!! Yes, the mood swings involved with trying to get this approved are crazy!! I go from wanting to " hurt someone " to well, maybe its for the best and I don't need to have surgery...I have a BMI of 67 to 68....I definately need to have surgery!!!! Just hang in there....use this site to vent and keep fighting!! Guest guest
Being an advocate for insurance benefits, as long as you provide them that certificate of previous coverage they will not be able to make you wait for a year. Hope that helps.
