Guest guest
To all members, This is a kind reminder of the basic operations of this group: - Search before you post... most of the times, the same questions resurface again and again. Cost of surgery, amount of swelling, duration of sickness leave, etc. Of course, if you have a particular condition, feel free to post, there will always be someone to help. But to avoid exhausting our members, please, search before you post. - Posting pictures is encouraged, but... Limit the number of photos you post. There is no need to post pictures of your kids, your new boyfriend / girlfriend, or 7 pictures of your bite. Take your best shot front & side, and one of your overall face and post them. Most importantly, DELETE THE FULL SIZE versions. I've seen members posting 1.5MB large pictures. Not only is that size about 3 times the size of a normal computer screen, it would take 5 minutes to download with a dial up connection. I have done clean up on a regular basis but I insist on getting members' help on this. And if I have to, I will choose the pictures that'll stay. I'm doing this because we only have 30Mb of storage space for pictures, and so far, we're at 12Mb. Ample space left, I know, but if we want to host the most pictures possible, we need to conserve space. - Check your bouncing status. I'm periodically deleting members, hard bouncers, who set their e-mail preferences to individual post, but routinely get their inbox so full that messages from this group are bouncing. If we have too many bouncing members, Yahoo! may delete this group. Thank you for your co-operation, Robillard co-moderator
