Guest guest
I have been reading these posts for a while and I have noticed that a lot of people are wearing fairly small sizes. I weighed 125-130 pounds about 4 years ago. I got there through starvation and stayed there for a while the same way. I wore a size 8. I am 5'9 " tall. I see people weighing 160-180 wearing the same size. Does losing weight so fast maintain the muscle that one has built up by weighing a lot? If so, the 160-180 has a lot of muscle that is more compact than fat. While I was gaining weight, I think at 160-180 I was wearing size 16-18. If it is a matter of maintaining muscle mass, does one have to work harder to keep that muscle after the weight loss through resistance type exercise and working out? I was hoping to walk, can't do other aerobic stuff because of bad feet and ankles, I could lift weights. What does everyone here do to maintain their new physique?
