Guest guest
Hey there. i've been reading posts and looking through pictures for about 1.5 years now. I've learned so much from just reading about other people's experiences, especially those who share my condition (CLASS III malocclusion!!) Last year, I decided that i wanted to do something to correct my bite which also indirectly affects the way I perceive myself in the realms of self-confidence (or the lack of it). I've been wearing braces for about a year now, and i am scheduled to go into surgery on the 12th of MAY. It's coming up soooo quickly!! ahhh One of the things that i'm really worried about is the effect the surgery will have on my ability to sense things like temperature, pressure, etc. Are there are particular procedures that will have a greater risk of losing one of these senses? For example, i really like to kiss. . the whole thought of losing my ability to feel my lips makes me reconsider the reasons for which i am doing this. so, is there are input out there? thanks for reading derrick
