I had my surgery Nov 15, 2000 at age 57 and absolutly no complications at

all! (Ive been wanting a hernia but I guess my abdominal muscles are so

strong I will never get one!)

I was 44 at the time of surgery. Turned 45 in March. No complications.

Had ovaries out at same time (which changes my hormones). No hormone

replacement therapy yet.
