Guest guest
Take things as Pam said, you'll do fine. Worry about what you eat while you're there, it's easier to forget what you should be eating at other people's houses. They always cook big things for guest, I know I do. I'm leaving for Colorado this Saturday and as soon as I get off the airplane, I'm going to the store to buy my own food that I need at my sisters. Have a great vacation, go out for walks if you don't get to do anything else for exercise and take all you're vitamins and drink the water. If you try you won't come back with more weight. Have fun, enjoy your family. Take care. Donna Diane Duenas wrote: Hi everyone I leave next week for a three week vacation to Indiana to see my dad and tons of other relatives. We are driving. It will takes us 3 to 4 days. Any tips for eating on the drive? Plus, Im not sure how much computer access I will have, so if you don't hear from me...I will try to catch up when I get back. Guest guest
I am a veteran at eating on the road. My jeep thinks when we back out of the driveway we are going back east. Anyway, I like to take an ice chest w string cheese, protein such as sliced meats, cottage cheese individuals, fruit, you can always stop for a salad. I really get so sick and tired of fast food on a trip, so we prefer to take our own. Sometimes I will cook a chicken, i usually take bread for my husband for a sandwich, pnbutter, the choices are really endless. Of course water and you're all set. It's really much easier than eating out, and you can always stop at a grocery store if you need to. It is cheaper and definately healthier. We have done this for years, even when the kids were small.
