Guest guest
Hi Phil I don't know about the t's and r's, but I definitely had a lot of problems with s's, and just slurring in general. I found it very hard to ennunciate properly the first few weeks. The good news is that it got better! I don't know if you had a splint (I had one for 6.5 weeks that I just got out yesterday, yay!) but that would definitely contribute, and also with all the swelling and numbness it can be pretty hard to get your mouth to do exactly what you want, at least that was my experience. I would wait another few weeks for some more swelling to go down before I really started to panic if I were you (i know, sometimes these things are easier said than done -- but talk to your surgeon when you get the chance and hopefully that will alleviate your worry a bit) - > > Hi everyone, > > I had upper surgery (extended 5mm) and genio last wednesday and > evrything seems to be going well except I am a little worried about > my speech.
