Denied for medical coverage because of surgery!!!

Bc/Bs of Florida refused to pay for my surgery. I had to go through

Vocational Rehabilatation and they are paying for it! Voc rehab is also paying

for my

tummy to be done down the road. BC/BS sucks! Pay them $500.00 a month for

nothin'. They said so many people for years got approval for the by pass

surgerys

and the tummy surgerys for vanity reasons, that now they are not approving

them. When so may people need them now for their health. But they don't want to

hear it.

I am so mad I could spit!!! My husband's company closed so we needed

to get individual insurance (COBRA is not an option).

I was declined for coverage because I had GBS!!! I am 100% healthier

than before surgery and have had no complications! What's wrong with

these people?! They said I could reapply in a few YEARS!!! It was

Blue Cross, the ones who paid for the surgery in the first place. I

smell a conspiracy!!

Has this happened to anyone else?
