Kathy -

I know many DS posties who have a glass of whole milk each morning and that

helped IMMENSELY with their constipation -- and keeps them regular. I

haven't had the problem, but they swear by it. So, if you're not lactose

intolerant you might want to give it a try. Sounded like a weird solution

to me -- but they says it absolutely works for them.

Eating high fat would also be a possible solution.

Take care -

How do I turn constipation off?

| I seem to go in phases where I am either constipated for days, or I have

| diarrhea. I can't seem to figure out what makes the change, but I am

| suspecting it is something I am eating (or not eating). Can you guys

please

| send me a list of food that causes the poop to start flowing again? I

have

| tried a few things that used to work (pre-op), but after 3 days of no poop

I

| am feeling pretty bloated and miserable. I don't want to take medicine if

I

| can find some food to solve the problem. Yes, I am drinking lots of water

| too.
