Guest guest
>> We are at higher risk for osteo than normies. That's why it is so important to take the Calcium with D and to at least walk or do some other weight bearing exercise daily. It is the ONLY way to preserve bone mass and insure the majority of your weight loss is fat. ** I won't dispute that we need to take calcium CITRATE with D and do weight bearing exercise but it will not necessarily 'preserve' bone mass. because so many of us are in our 40's that in and of itself guarantees bone loss and then the rapid weight loss and the calcium deficiencies combines with the pth being off balance and how our bodies are using the calcium and storing it and losing it from bone, teeth, muscle. we can only hope to not loss too much, we will lose some - its a reality. sue
