Guest guest
, I think many of us weigh daily, so you are not alone. At 17 months post-op, I weigh every am. Its a little ritual-like the others, first thing in am, naked, and I get off and on the scale at least twice to confirm what the first reading was! In my case, I try not to let it affect my day, but you do feel happier if its gone down and a little less happy if its gone up. Thats to be expected. But I use the daily weigh-ins as a way to be honest with myself. In the pre-op days, I would eat and eat and never get on the scale-it was denial all the way around. By the time I'd get on the scale, it was a 20,30 or 40 pound gain. Talk about ruining your day! This time I am determined that if there is more than a 2 pound gain, its time to turn it around while its just 2 pounds.
