Greg, Congrats, getting off the nicotine will be so much better for your body, and you are just about there, that's great.  And getting off Pred. I always say I have a hate/love relationship with Pred. I was on it for

over 5 years, and hated it, but there are times, that I still get a 3 day IV dose, and happy to get it.  But I hope I never have to do long term on it again.  You will feel so much better.  I've never tried Humaria, but I am

doing really well on the Remicade so far.  I got an email today from " our representative "   for the Insurance company and she said we just need to call in and get prior authorization each time, that  stinks, I asked her

to look into the one year authorization, like I had this past year?  We'll see.  Good luck Greg, you will be feeling so good, so soon. Marla

Today is the end of 6 weeks no nicotine. I now have detoxed 90% of the nicotine from my body. The Doctors are working to get me off Pred and onto Remicade or Humaria. I think I will be happier with either.

Congratulations Greg. I quit cold turkey many years ago. I smoked 3 packs a day. It was killing me. My spouse quit the scoal habit 9 years ago. I know the hard time it took. Proud of you and welcome to the quitters.

My habit whose 1 to 2 cans of copenhagen a day. I did copenhagen for almost 30

years. I have been trying to quit for 5 years due to cost at first the health

later, When I started dipping a can costed $0.35 cents now they cost $5.00 to

$6.00. I found a way to wean off and quit copenhagen. I will share it with

anyone who really wants to quit.

Seeing my daughter graduate college and she her marry a good guy (or the redneck

Texan combat vet will appear) and for possible grandkids. For these are the

reasons a I quit. 'Cuz I want to see these things.

So find a good reason that will tear at your daughters Hearts to quit. and make

them beleive they discovered the reason..
