Have u checked the labels on those pre-mixes on the shelves? Maybe there are

preservatives or some such in them that the pro powders don't have? Perhaps a

call to the mfr of your pro powder would produce correct info for u? (talk to

their staff chemist, not a customer service rep). Just from my own experience,

not too many nutritionists or dieticians (or docs, for that matter) are TRULY

knowledgeable about WLS, differences in nutritional requirements post-op, and

products that work for " us. "

But I'd be interested in knowing what-all she's said that's been " on the

money. " If she's as good as u say, I'd like to ask her for a consult.

i'm drinking protein shakes, eating chicken breast, grilled salmon,

and other high protein foods

tues - 5 shakes and chicken breast - 149g of protein and 13g of carbs

wed - 2 shakes, grilled salmon, and other high protein foods (i

worked that day) - 146g of protein and 22g of carbs

thurs - 5 shakes, chicken breast, and other high protein foods -

173g of protein and 21g of carbs

today - so far i've had to 2 shakes - 46g of protein and 5g of carbs

I also use the unjury. I use the unflavored and i will put it in just about

anything. The best thing I have found to put it in is my Crystal light

slurpee.....20 grams of protein and it hass not taste
