Guest guest
Hey Matt, did you make it to National Jewish yet, did I miss you? I get light headed spells, not only when I stand up, sometimesit's just like, woo here it comes, then it's gone. Right now I am having problems with my BP, it was up, so they put me on Bp meds, the first one I had a terrible reaction to, the second one bottom out my BP, and even the third weakness does keep my BP so low I couldn't function, now it goes up and down, when it's up, I take one of the lowest does pills, then it sometimes come way down again, it's been high for a couple of days now, so I am seeing the doc today, not my regular doc, so well see how it goes. Always sending positive thoughts your way, Matt, Marl a Hi. thanks for all of u who responded to my question about dizzy spells. While i would not wish this on anyone it is comforting to know i am not alone. When u have an illness that most people have never heard of much less understand it can get scary to suddenly have a new symptom and not know what is happening or why and your docs not sure either. Take Care, MATT

Guest guest
Matt, I'm still "gone" but I wanted to ask this-- how are your blood sugars? If they are high, that can cause dizzeness. So can high blood pressure. So can dehydration. With being on prednisone all the years most of us end up with diabetes-- and then add an antibiotic-- and you end up with systemic yeast infections -- candidis. Men don't show outward signs so most often it's missed in guys. But it goes right along with prednisone use, and the side effects. A very close friend of mine-- was having very serious dizzy spells and vertigo, and would actually end up with seizures. A significant part of these issues has now been proven to be from systemic yeast -- so he went on probiotics, got off the sugars, the gluten and caffeine, as well as having to quit his beer (he brewed some of the best beer you've ever had) but the yeast in it was adding to the problem-- and the seizures and vertigo have stopped completely. His issues with dizziness have stopped also, at least to the point where he is out on the golf course a couple a times a week. He decided to experiment a week back, had a couple of beers after dinner- and the next day could hardly lift his head off the pillow. It was the wheat barley and yeast. His home brew is high in glutens. Just a thought, you might want to run it by your docs. Take care, Tracie NS Co-owner/moderator Hi. thanks for all of u who responded to my question about dizzy spells. While i would not wish this on anyone it is comforting to know i am not alone.
