Guest guest
IF the bar is too long this can cause pain and discomfort. Unfortunatley most of us have an Orthotist that doesnt know jack S*it about Clubfoot, and how these braces are supposed to really fit. We ended up with a bar too short before we got the s! Like 2 " too short! You need to measure the width of the bar (bolt to bolt) compared to the outer widths of his shoulders. The should be the SAME! If they are not, it needs to be fixed NOW! --------------------------------- Yahoo! Shopping Find Great Deals on Holiday Gifts at Yahoo! Guest guest
Hang in there. The first few days are the toughest but they get used to them pretty quick. Make sure the heels are down, you have a good sock, and the shoes are tight to avoid slipping. In the beginning we took them off a few times a day to check for preassure sores. I practically had to hold Aidan the entire first day, he wasn't a happy camper but slow but sure they come around. He was also a former preemie and we didn't actually start treatment until he was 2 months old. sosanm68 wrote: any advice for us. just got dbb yesterday and our 2 month old cried all nite. he is small, a 7 lb former preemie with bilateral clubfeet. the shoes are tight but toes look good, but the bar looks a bit long. We are using tylenol but our hearts are breaking with the crying. Help!

Guest guest
I am also on Neuronton. I take 800mg 3 times a day. This really helps with the bee sting pain. I am also taking 60mg a day of Cymbalta for my back pain. There are also a bunch more but my hands are stiff today. I have sarc in the brain & spine only so far. I've had 2 brain surgerys for cvp shunts to be installed. in 'tucky Join our Sock Challenge for Orphans in Kazakhstan http://groups. yahoo.com/ group/Mittens_ for_Akkol/ grannylunatic@...
