More than once? >> dawna: This has happened to me repeatedly (and I've mentioned it several times in frustration on the boards). I will plateau and then I can gain anywhere from 2-4 lbs after this. I think it is the body's reaction to the previous rapid weight loss (even if it was 5 lbs but happened quickly). Usually my body will start losing after I gain the 4 lbs -- so that is an indication that my bloating days are numbered! LOL My weight loss has been slower than others and my body tends to fight it all the way. But, I have lost over 80 lbs at seven months out. I'm going through a particularly 'slow' period now and I lost about 6 lbs but have been fluctuating up and down and staying at about the same weight for awhile now... all the best, lap ds with gallbladder removal January 25, 2001 Dr. Gagner/Mt.
