OT: Potty training problems

Our 5 yo son is having great difficulty eliminating BM in the toilet. He has

been potty trained for urine for 2 years but he is just recently sitting on the

potty chair but will not have his BM go into it. Our therapist is helping us

with this and we presently started using a cassette and book to get him to sit

on the commode which has worked great. The problem is,the passed year he has

asked for a diaper when he needs to have a BM then he does his business standing

and then gets clean underwear on. Now he asks for the diaper,we turn on the

tape,he sits on the potty until the tape is done holding his BM until it is over

and then asks for a diaper. One night I told him we didn't have any diapers and

he held it for 12 hours until he found a pull up in the closet. We have used

many books and videotapes. Any suggestions?
