My ortho wanted to see me during the time I was banded and had the

big plate in the roof of my mouth. Yep, he just wanted to look.

Said he wouldn't do anything until Dr. Tipps gave his ok.

It was about 8 weeks post op before the ortho started the

adjustments again. I would be shocked if your ortho cut your wires

off, but who knows.

My OS is still seeing me and will for about a year after my

surgery. Will you go back and forth from Chatt to see yours? Do

you mind if I ask where you are moving from?

You will love Chattanooga. It's not too big and not too small, but

if you get a hankering for the big city, Atlanta's only an 1 1/2

away.
