Guest guest
, I have started the diet with my 3 yr old about the same time as you. My son has shown a lot of improvement in some aspects, but he still puts his hands, and other objects, to his eyes at times. I have noticed the occasional change in his stools, some days it's all good , and other days it's not. Some days I get discouraged too,but I think their systems need a chance to get used to it. I've noticed enough improvements to keep with it. And I have read that sometimes when you take a child off gluten and casein at the same time, sometimes you will see a change, it will plateau, then there will be more improvent (time varies). Because the casein effects seem to wear off quicker, and the gluten can take quite a while. And also, the 'tamtrum' has got to be upsetting for you. But a lot of kids this age have problems shifting from one activity (esp. when they are having a great time) to another and melt down. Hopefully she was just tired. Good Luck!
