Guest guest
I'm sorry I don't know waht kinds of operations the kid had. s. Re: 5 surgeries Hello! I am curious as to the types of surgeries this child has had to endure. Were these all tendon procedures? I have shared on this site before, the surgery that was 100% failure for me and was entirely responsible for the large number of surgeries I have had is the procedure when the tendon is split and " half " transfered to another part of the foot to " offer " stability or support. ( " Surgery " is not a generic term, it can mean very different things.) shared that her infant son had the " splitting " surgery as an infant which was, of course problematic. Just curious.--- > > GlacierFor those who still contimplate the validity of the Ponseti Method - today my boys had their " Well Child " check ups at a new dr's office. The nurse told me she has an 11 year old daughter with 1 club foot who is fixing to have her 5th operation to " correct " the foot. > > ELEVEN YEARS of so-called correction and five operations and they still can't get it right??????..... > > The dr. was very interested in looking at my boy's feet and wants to learn more about Dr. Ponseti now! She really handled Evy's feet a lot amazed at how much normal flex he had and how normal they looked, etc. 's feet of course are not nearly as good but at least he only had the 1 surgery (ATTT). > > Anyway, just wanted to share that with new folks around the board that if your casting or FAB seems hard right now, pretty soon it'll be nothing compared to this girl and her eleven years of torture....I mean..... Correction. > s. > > > > > >
