Guest guest
What a GREAT idea! Putting my surgeries in writing. ------------------------- I've been putting my medical history in writing for years now. Have had 15 (as of last Tuesday) abdominal surgeries, a few other surgeries and a few heart procedures performed, not to mention some experimental treatment for ovarian cysts years ago where I received Lupron injections and a host of other things going on. Felt that maybe some how, some way one thing may tie in with another and some smart, alert physician may just figure all of this out. Otherwise, I guess its just the luck of the draw and am quite fortunate that of all the surgeries, problems, illnesses, etc, that I've had, they've all been fixable/treatable. Though I may get disgusted and may be in pain and uncomfortable at times, and get frustrated and have my little pity parties, I have never been told that I have something terminal that can't be fixed. I guess its how you look at things. Some people feel sorry for me. I don't. Considering my family history, I feel quite fortunate. Guess its the glass is half full type of attitude.
