have any comments?

Yeah - it has lactose - very little is still lots of lactose for the bacteria to

munch on

happily.

You can use the fresh goat milk for yogurt.

husband keeps asking me why I can't drink goat milk. I keep telling him it's

not allowed on my diet. He wants to know WHY?

Sam reason as cow's milk. Lactose sugar feeds the

bacteria. A little for us is still a feast for bacteria.

lactose content of goat's milk is about 10% lower than that of cow's milk, which doesn't come close to the none next to no lactose content you're looking for while on SCD.Plus, it tastes bad... :)-UC - 1+ yearsSCD - 7 months 100% strict and 4 months restricted diet.Asacol - 5 pills a dayTo: BTVC-SCD From: thequiltingbea3@...Date: Sun, 31 Jan 2010 01:36:03 +0000Subject: Fresh Goat Milk

also, I'm no expert, but I would think the fast digestion would actually be worse for you on SCD because your body would get a flood of sugars even if they were legal sugars. It's my understanding that this is the same reason we can not drink lactose free milk (lactaid) since there would be a flood of galactose? and whatever other simple sugar the lactose got turned into. I remember reading it but don't remember if it was in BTVC or not.-UC - 1+ yearsSCD - 7 months 100% strict and 4 months restricted diet.Asacol - 5 pills a dayTo: BTVC-SCD From: thequiltingbea3@...Date: Sun, 31 Jan 2010 01:36:03 +0000Subject: Fresh Goat Milk
