Joining the June surgery club

I just got my surgery date of June 8th. I am so excited (and a little

bit nervous)!

I've been mostly a lurker here and have learned a ton. I had SARPE in

Feb 2004 and will now be having upper and lower to correct a class II.

My surgeon said that there is a 90% chance that he'll have to wire me

shut due to the size of my overjet. He'll also be harvesting some hip

bone for a bone graft. Any tips from anyone who has dealt with either

of these?

You wait and wait for a date to be set; you just want it to come and

be done with. Now it feels like the big day is quickly approaching!
