Ummm. I wouldn't have wanted you trading anything for me in the

first week or so, if your adventure is like mine. And I had lower

only, with an easy recovery. I wouldn't have wanted me trading

anything for me, either.

Isn't " trading " (I'm thinking stocks, commodities, futures, etc.,

etc. here) a fast-paced, quick-thinking kind of job?

If so, you may be up to it. I would not have.

Particularly not while things are in the upsies/downsies as they

seem to be at the moment.

Just my input. Give yourself a little time to get your footing back.

No. Probably not bedridden. Good to get up and move about a bit, so

as not to get blood clots. But it could well be that your thinking

processes will be slowed a bit, and you won't want to be relying on

quick thinking. (For the same reason, you won't want to be driving

right away.) Your concentration may not be all that you would wish,

for yourself or for your clients.

Just my o.

C.

I started working from hom 2 weeks postop - part-time first, the next

week full-time. You might be up to working earlier, I was just being

lazy. The first week was definitely out for me - even if I could sit

in front of the computer, I would get dizzy and tired very easily.

Hey, just saw this thread - im a week post op and if I could talk (my job

requires a lot of talking) I would be back to work atleast part time in office

now. I feel i have the strength and no pain, but again, not being able to talk

properly while wired gets int eh way. Hope this helps... im sure working form

home wouldnt be a problem as long as everythign goes smoothly.
