Guest guest
Lenora, Don't take a break from posting. Whether we agree with what you have to say or how you feel, the bottom line is this is a place for support. You are dealing with the mental aspects of this life transformation and maybe on that day you did not know how to deal with what you are feeling. I don't think you are a bad person. We have all had feelings that we might not be very proud of. And you may not have meant what you wrote to be taken the way that it was. Nevertheless, don't stop visiting and posting. No one hates you. People can disagree and still go on with life. We are all here to grow together. Dora MY POST I am sorry for posting about the topic overweight people.. Guest guest
HEy guys, I too have also wanted to share my story with others, i dont go out of my way to go to overweight people, but i might say something like, i used to be a size 28 and now im into a 18 finally, and then if they say wow, how did u do it, I tell them all about it. That has happened twice now, both times standing in line at walmart, i even gave a woman my # so she could call me and ask my all the questions she wanted to, and last week, she too underwent the surgery. I felt wonderful, like i gave her a new lease on life, just for taking the courage to share my life story with her. U should never be scared to share such a wonderful story....but i dont go out of my way to push it on others. Its such a personal thing to decided, and its not for everyone. Just make sure you never lose sight of who and WHERE you came from...and always love...((((hugs))) in ks nov 18th, 2003 346/240/170 5 months post op
