Guest guest
If I remember right Noah had his cast on for 3 weeks after the tenotomy. number23 wrote: It's a healing cast so it stays on for three solid weeks if at all possible. s. Tenotomy Cast Question Hayden is most likely getting the tenotomy next week (only in the left - yay!). Is the tenotomy cast left on for three weeks, or is it another three weeks of weekly casts? I am confused. Thanks!
Guest guest
I'm sure if you express your concern, they should be able to do something similar for you then. They just unwrapped the top part, pulled out the cotton and socklike layers at the top and reapplied them. It doesn't help if there is an issue for the bottom part of the cast, but Aleksander never managed to leak that far down in the cast. Once he got really close! I brought him in that time because I could smell it all the time and I knew it had to be way down in the cast. When I called to get him in, they sort of wondered about me, but once they took the top part of the cast off, they saw what I was smelling! Fortunately, no one else could smell it...I seem to have supersonic smelling capabilities. Guest guest
Yeah - I have a dog nose too! I noticed the smell from Hayden's foot back a couple of weeks ago and nobody else had noticed it. So I'll be sniffing him every day once he has the tenotomy casts on! But it's good to know that I can replace the top part if necessary. I'll be sure to talk to Dr. Pirani about it. kannhoudek wrote: I'm sure if you express your concern, they should be able to do something similar for you then.
