Hi-

This is my first time posting, I had a VBG 6/99 starting 289, lost to 147#

total of 142# in 9 months. I began to gain weight last year after breaking my

leg twice. I went up to 205# and 7-14-03 I had a JIB, my VBG is fine no

break down or stretching. Today I weigh the same as I did the day I left the

hospital. I am so upset that I had to go through a major surgery and I

haven't lost a pound. Is there anyone out there who is familiar with this

procedure, please any help would be great.

Kourt,

I had the VBG on 7/16/01. My start weight was 479, went down to

305 up to about 350 and down to 347. The thing I noticed was that I was

getting back into some old eating habits including sugar, mashed

potatoes, chips, ice cream etc. I had to finally get rid of the stuff

that was causing the problem. If you would like to talk, please let me

know. You can reach me at my email address loriowen@... or at

940/566-8090. If ya call, let me know that you are from the graduate

list.
