Hey Jane,

I'm doing pretty well. I don't have any restrictions as far as food

is concerned - just whatever I can handle. My OS is of the opinion

that the more I train my jaw, then better it will get. I think he's

got a point there. I'm pretty much eating normally now (except for

raw carrots, and stuff like that). It's still a little uncomfortable,

particularly on the right side, but overall, not bad at all. I can

now open almost 3 fingers. As you practice chewing and opening your

mouth, your opening will get better. It's a slow process, but it does

work. My numbness is improving, slowly but surely. I can now feel

light touch on my chin, whereas I could not before, and gums on the

right side are hypersensitive (which would go away eventually). There

is still a lot of weird feeling, but I hope it will go away as

everything gets back to normal.
