B, Just My Size might work but I am not sure because I

am not sure what size you are. You might find they

are TOO big for you.

Maybe Hanes has something that might work to. I know

they have control top and that might help until your

tummy tuck.

I am sorry but I am glad that you were able to laugh

about it. I understand and I have not worn panty hose

in I don't know when either. I usually wear pants and

that means knee highs so I am sorry I could not help

you much at all.

Well, on the back of the package, they have a

height/weight chart so maybe you can try and go by

that???

I am sorry I can't help you but maybe someone will

chime in and assist. ANYONE with ideas...

I like Leggs, but not Sheer Energy, they are too shiny and tight and uncomfortable. There is one that is like Soft as Silk or Silky something...I like those best. Actually, I frequently go without stockings. I just put some baby oil on my legs and voila. The more expensive kind that I wear is Donna Karan...and I also like Calvin Klein. Hanes are also nice. But, when you pay 8 bucks or more for a pair of stockings, you get really ticked when they run the first time you wear them. that's why I wear Legg's now. (although, they don't run as quickly now that I'm thinner!) My own legs never run. I'm working on that (hee hee). I think you might be confused about the terms. There is lap or laproscopic surgery, which is less invasive, which I had and than there is lap band surgery which is a different approach to wls. I hear that Kaiser is going to offer it, but I do not know if they do as of yet. Is that what you were asking?

Why do we not heed our mental feelings as we heed our physical feelings?

Hi Barbara, my name is Bert. I am a weekend dweller/lerker here. =0) I am, at the end of June, 10 months post-op. I have lost 153 pounds over all and have been in "maintain mode" for a few weeks. I am so thrilled to be here! But i am a bit worried too. Like you I snack. I do try to be careful about what I am snacking on because I do get sick if I eat something too sweet. I have limited my snacking a bit already because I can't let it get out of hand. My snack time is card night, MOST other snacking is fruit. So you asked how you can get back on track...START DOING IT. You can do this, you've already been doing it! Pay attention to your mental feelings of being guilty and mad and all those things that make you SICK! I know a tummy ache is different because...it's icky, but sick is sick!

i need help

Hi Everyone,I need your help. It has been 9 months since mygastric bypass. I have lost 98 lbs since then and 168overall. This past week I have gotten into old habits.Snacking all the time. I have not gotten sick fromover eating. I am eating the wrong foods.I am one ofthe patients that can eat anything. The only thingthat has made me feel ill was pork spareribs. Why Itried it was stupid.Between the little fat and bbqsauce. Never again. I am only exercising 3-4 times aweek. How can I get back into eating right. Pleasesomeone give me the words of wisdom I need.I feel likeI am not in control.Barbara C__________________________________________________
