nope, not everybody has one.

Most do, though.

mine was plastic, about the size of a half dollar (although it felt a

lot bigger!) and was behind my upper teeth and under them, wired into

my upper brace. It had little grooves where my lower teeth were

sposed to go.

It made me talk funny, but I was still able to be understood. I was

neither wired nor banded, which helped.
