Guest guest
nope, not everybody has one. Most do, though. mine was plastic, about the size of a half dollar (although it felt a lot bigger!) and was behind my upper teeth and under them, wired into my upper brace. It had little grooves where my lower teeth were sposed to go. It made me talk funny, but I was still able to be understood. I was neither wired nor banded, which helped. > > Hey everyone, > > Since I posted such a whiny, crabby post last week about not getting > my splint taken out and not being able to eat, I am VERY happy to > announce that today my OS removed my splint and I am able to eat!!! > I can eat anything I want, with the exception of course of things > like gum and caramel and really hard things like rock candy.
