I didnt do much. My primary sent me to a Dr. forgot what type to get shots

in my hips for pain...then went to the plastic surgeon. he took pics, found a

small lump that might be a hernia and it was approved.

I zam on state insurance right now. I have a really bad apron and my muscles

are separated so i really need this all fixed. he lower body lift was the

surgeons idea. I would have been happy with just the apron removed.

I am SCARED to death though of another surgery. After the RNY I had lack of

oxygen to my brain and it took a while to recoup. I thought the Pres. was

Nixon and didnt even know my childrens B days or what hospital I was in.

I smoke and have to quit ASAP.

I fought for 18 mo to get a TT with my hernia repair. I need an LBL

approved for my son more than for myself. He is the only WLS'er

that I know of that turned diabetic AFTER WLS. He almost died

because they said " You just can't lose 150 lbs and become

diabetic! " But you can if you turn into a Type I. He now wears a

pump and the loose skin around his middle really limits his infusion

sites. At this point, he can only use his upper legs. Saw a PS

that deals in lots of WLS'ers and he was not hopeful for an approval

on the LBL. Say a little prayer for us....we need all the help we

can get!
