Splint removal didn't hurt me a bit. Actually, the techs took mine

out. I can't smell anything ever -- I think it really may have hurt

them more than me. One told the other, whom she was teaching how to

do it: " Only thing I can suggeste, when we take it out, is hold your

breath! " They left me to clean my mouth with a toothbrush, toothpase

and mouthwash -- so I cleaned the splint at the same time.
