I also had 2.5 lbs of skin removed. I think you and I are about the same weight aren't we? Right now well I'm up a bit but typically I'm about 150 right now about 155. I asked my Dr. if I could go camping/boating on the 30th for the 4th of July and he said sure. Now I'm wondering if the swelling will be down enough to wear a swim suit or if I can wear one since the swelling is so much and the girddle thing. It sounds like your doing wonderful with your new self congrats. Keep me posted.. I was told it could take months for all the swelling to go down how is yours doing? Well enough questions for now. Guest guest Posted June 12, 2006 Report Share Posted June 12, 2006 Hey Rose, all is well. I weigh 138 and all of my swelling is gone. I had surgery April 19th so that puts me almost two months. I noticed it was gone by the time I returned to work on May 15th, well at least by the time I was a month out it was all gone. I am doing great and my numbness does not come and go it is constant. I only feel it when I touch my tummy. Right around the naval area but no pain. I am so glad that my surgeries are all over. I wish you well and glad to hear that you are doing better.
