Pam, I do also have some numbness but it seems to come and go. I have to wear 2 girddles did you? When did you stop wearing them? I also had 2.5 lbs of skin removed. I think you and I are about the same weight aren't we? Right now well I'm up a bit but typically I'm about 150 right now about 155. I asked my Dr. if I could go camping/boating on the 30th for the 4th of July and he said sure. Now I'm wondering if the swelling will be down enough to wear a swim suit or if I can wear one since the swelling is so much and the girddle thing. It sounds like your doing wonderful with your new self congrats. Keep me posted.. I was told it could take months for all the swelling to go down how is yours doing? Well enough questions for now. Take Care Hugs RosePamela A Marsh wrote: Rose, sorry to hear about the pain but I am glad thatyou finally got your procedures done. The did nothave any pain post my surgeries as they had me on thatcodiene and valium. The only thing that I have goingon now is numbness (tummy). My surgeon said it mightgo away and it might not. Whether it does not notdoes not matter as there is no pain and its not evennoticeable until I touch my belly. As your swellinggoes away, you will see the beauty inspite of thescars. tummy was 2.5 pounds so I didnot have very much and I had two drain tubes. Theydid not hurt but it took me 13 days before they cameout because I kept draining a lot. I thought I wouldhave to at least go out and buy new shirts but myshirts still fit.I wish you well on your recovery and I can't waituntil your swelling is all gone so you can brag onyourself :>)Pam Marsh--- armymom1961 <armymom1961 (AT) yahoo (DOT) com> wrote:> Hi Everyone,> Sorry it took so long for me to update you on my> progress. Hey Rose, all is well. I weigh 138 and all of my

swelling is gone. I had surgery April 19th so that

puts me almost two months. I noticed it was gone by

the time I returned to work on May 15th, well at least

by the time I was a month out it was all gone. I am

doing great and my numbness does not come and go it is

constant. I only feel it when I touch my tummy.

Right around the naval area but no pain. I am so glad

that my surgeries are all over. I wish you well and

glad to hear that you are doing better. Hugs to you

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have been having a couple of

difficult days. I can't tell you how much it means to mean to have

your caring words and encouragement. You are right, God is in

control and if it is in His plan it will be done.
