Guest guest
Stacee, I looked at the lucky baby website, and your sling is very similar to mine. In the " sling instructions " portion of their site, it shows some pics and there is one they call belly to belly. That is basically how I wear Mason. I put my sling over my shoulder across my body and I bunch it up under my chin so I can pick up Mason and put him directly against my belly with the bunched up fabric above his head. Then, I pull the fabric down over him so the bottom of the sling is under his butt. Then I hoist him up so he is at chest level and he can see over the top of the sling. We practiced several times without the shoes on until I was comfortable, then we added them into the mix. Like anything, it is a bit more complicated with the bar, but we have it figured out! Oh, and when he falls asleep, he just tilts sideways in the sling so his head is at one side of the sling and his feet hang out the other. The sling goes around his knees so it pretty much supports the weight of the shoes so they aren't just hanging. I'll have my hubby take some pics today and I'll add them to Mason's photo album. Hope this helps you! > > > > > > I have been wanting to get a sling so I could " wear " Mason instead of > > > carrying him in his carseat (which he hates) so I did the research and > > > we ended up buying a Dr. Sears Original Baby sling. Guest guest
That's what I was afraid of... doesn't like facing me anymore (sob) but enjoys looking out at the world. I can't seem to figure out a way to carry him facing out while he's in the brace, though. I emailed Lucky Baby this morning to see if they have any suggestions. Who knows, maybe some mom sent them info about her success doing just what I'm trying! Thanks for trying to help!! I may just try him facing me, anyway... he tends to change things up on me daily, it seems. Maybe today he'll like facing me! :-) Stacee > > > > > > > > I have been wanting to get a sling so I could " wear " Mason > instead of > > > > carrying him in his carseat (which he hates) so I did the > research and > > > > we ended up buying a Dr. Sears Original Baby sling.
